I have some news about the deletion of work and accounts which I think makes everything make sense.
This is important: There is no one who is specifically reporting work. It is the moderators of dA.
I've been thinking about the last few times this has happened, (it happens basically every year to lemon and lemon writers) and I also received a few more notes both sent by members of the group to the group as well as to my account, so I thought it called for another look at dA's terms of service, and I came across this:
You agree to be subject to and to conduct yourself in accordance with the deviantART Etiquette Policy.You are responsible for all of Your Content you upload, download, and otherwise copy, distribute and display using the Service....
You agree not to use the Service:
for any unlawful purposes;
to upload, post, or otherwise transmit any material that is obscene, offensive, blasphemous, pornographic, unlawful, threatening, menacing, abusive, harmful, an invasion of privacy or publicity rights, defamatory, libelous, vulgar, illegal or otherwise objectionable..."
-Which lead me to the etiquette policy:
"DeviantART strictly prohibits the submission of materials classified as pornographic or obscene. There is no exception to this prohibition.
Certain content may be deemed obscene by the administration and as such the staff reserves the right to remove such content immediately upon discovery. The administration reserves the sole right to review and classify questionable material as obscene or not obscene. "
(There was a bit more on that but it was a lot more of a read.)
It doesn't exactly change much on what we could do about this, but I felt like you guys should know.
That being said, lets wait this out!
